1968 Saab Model 96 V4 Deluxe

Up for sale is a 1968 Saab Model 96V4 Deluxe, VIN 492039, registered in New Hampshire, in better than good condition. I purchased this car in 2014 to complete my bucket list of Saab models I wanted to collect, and hauled it back to New England on a dolly. I have had several Model 96 Saabs to include my first brand new car.What a blast to drive, particularly in snow! But it is time to reduce my Saab collection because I have run out of parking and storage space and end up renting storage.I have sold two other Saabs via eBay to reduce my collection.I drove the 96 for fun in summer no more than a total of 250 miles during my ownership, and kept it off the road during winter (October/November to April) mostly in indoor storage.The speedo shows around 84838 miles, which was the mileage shown when I purchased the car in 2014 so the speedometer is not functioning; the probable cause may be the connection to the engine since the instrument, itself, works when disconnected from the cable.The color appears to be the original color based on the color code although probably repainted prior to my ownership, and I have had the hood stripped down to metal and repainted to deal with marring on the original enamel paint finish.The previous owner reports he replaced/installed: new fuel pump, weber carburetor, borsch high energy coil, fan hub bearing, hoses/clamps, rebuilt alternator, clutch kit, tires, air filter, heads professionally rebuilt with hardened vale seats, brass freeze plugs, exhaust, plugs, points, cap, and wires. I have dealt with major rust issues in front floor board corners and am not aware of any other major rust problems. I have had the car undercoated in 2016. A compression tests shows minor leaks at several clamps and intake gasket. There is a minor oil leak that appears to be from the fuel pump to engine block gasket.I would be willing, at prospective purchaser’s expense, to take the Saab 96 for a pre-purchase inspection within a reasonable distance of Nashua NH.There are at least two reputable Saab repair shops within reasonable driving distance, and both shops have work on this car.Currently, the Saab 96 is in rented indoor winter storage.
