1968 Shelby GT500 KR (Marti Report, Extremely Original) (NOT a Mustang tribute)

Description

1968 Shelby GT500 KR. Marti report. Largely original ("numbers matching" engine/VIN, interior, etc.). This car sat in a warehouse for 20+ years and was acquired from consignment. Based on the information available, this car wasused regularlyin its early years and sat instorage since the 1980s. At some point along the way, the car was fitted with new headers for more HP (a common modification at the time) and repainted black (original color is lime green). The end of the center counselhad been removed when I purchased it (I have replaced with anaftermarket, period-correctconsole).The carwas also fitted with a Hurst shifter along the way.

Since I acquired it,the carhas been completely serviced by a local vintage car mechanic tobring it to"everyday driver" condition. Breaks, break lights, carb, fuel pump, and fuel tank were recently serviced (all records available). I replaced the oil pressure gauge with an aftermarket, period-correctversion. New tires (less than 100 miles). Also happy to connect serious buyers with the mechanicwho knows the ins and outs of this car. Itsparked locally in SE Florida and available to be driven.

This Shelby is readybe used as a bad-assdriver or taken the concours restorationroute. Rust free. The car is FAST and ready to be enjoyed.
