About this vehicle...The body and frame were made by NAF (North American Fiberglass) and is titled as a 1965 Ford - Specialty Construction. Show winner - Best in class.
The frame is 2"x4" rectangular tubing. Fully reinforced. All components on the frame and suspension parts are epoxy primed / top coated in black.
The suspension has coil over shocks with powder coated springs - front and back. The rear end is a 9" Ford that was narrowed and 31 spline axles by Moser. New posi 3rd member - 3.50:1 ratio. Nascar style 5 bar rear end mount, emergency brake rotor is mounted on custom drive shaft. The wheels are 8" and 10" wide Compmotive 3 piece (made in England). The transmission is a "correct" - Top Loader - 4 speed with the reversed Mustang shifter as original. Bell housing is a Mildon with 11" racing clutch and pressure plate. Quick jack brackets front and rear. Vehicle weight approximately 2,325 lbs.
The engine is a 351 CLEVELAND - bored .030" over, Keith Black pistons, align bored, decked, balanced, stage 3 rods, girdled mains,oil passage modifications, Edelbrock aluminum heads that are modified with larger valves and port matched, roller rockers, 11:1 compression - runs fine on pump gas. Compmotive cam w/hydraulic lifters, Edelbrock air gap intake that is polished aluminum. Carb is a 780 Holley double pumper, MSD Pro distributor and MSD box, Mildon racing "T" oil pan and high pressure oil pump, March underdrive pulleys, Ron Davis custom radiator and overflow container, oil cooler in front grill, Mini high torque starter, headers are custom fabricated with 2" tubing then ceramic coated, side pipes are also ceramic coated. Interior features Tilton aluminum swing pedals, adjustable brake bias on dash, leather seats, Wilton carpet, electrical kill switch, SW gauges, genuine wood steering wheel, E type jag emergency handle and 5 point harness. More...
Please note that this vehicle has been completely fitted on the underside, wheel well (rear), complete motor compartment and trunk, firewall, transmission tunneletc.with .050" polished aluminum sheeting. Beautiful!
This was an earlier build but only has 3,800 miles. Senior driven...never saw any rain! There a few very minor issues that will need to be addresses...example....tiresare in like new shape but past 10 year date code. Has been in dry storage.
