Description
Crashed - 1965 Shelby Cobra Superformance MKIII 20th Anniversary Edition. Car #19 of 20 produced. 650HP LT4 Engine.
Rolled it off the trailer from being delivered brand new from Superformance, and hit a tree after traveling about 50 feet. The frame is bent and there is excessive front end damage. Left front control arms and spindle are broken, left front wheel is bent, radiator and power steering pump damaged, tie rods and various mounts damaged. The motor appears undamaged and turns by hand. We have yet to try to start it. Driver side door hinge and truck hinges are bent, front windshield and rear view and side view mirrors are broken. Steering wheel and column is bent. I am sure there are other issues as well.
The hood appears fine, the body from the windshield back appears undamaged.
The total cost for the car was more than $130,000. If you are up for a lot of work, the car is amazing. The car is located in Irvine, CA.
Title is in my fathers name but it is now the property of the trust. Transfer of title is more complicated but it only take about 30 minutes at Auto Club. I have the pink slip and the registration.
