1954 Studebaker Starlight Coupe Race Car
If you like things that go fast into the night or in the day down the street or on the track this little race baby is for you, built by a well-known rat rod builder Mike w/ Cactus Flyer here is what this fine ride has to offer the next driver:
Motor: 383 Stroker w/ 420HP, w/ a 650 Edlebrock carb but a 750 Demon goes with the car to make her even better on the track, headmen headers, and dual elect fans.
Transmission: 700R4 built by stick shift city, this has been set for street right now, if a person wanted to put a turbo 400 w/ a stall this baby would hit the track and hook up great (note when turbo 400 was in the car ¼ mile 11.89 and with the 700R4 ¼ mile 13.00)
Rear end: 8.8 Ford w/ 3.73 gears, ladder bar set up, we do have matching wheels to the front for the rear that go with car.
Front clip: Monte Carlo w/ disc brakes.
Exterior: 15 footer, no locks in doors hint the word race car.
Interior: Recaro type seats, full gauges package, racing seat belt, new carpet, roll cage, tilt column. B&M shifter Bandit.
Chassis: Tubular type construction.
If you like going fast then here is the car for you, if you don’t like going fast well then this car is not for you. Fly in drive her home or have a truck come pick her up. I have had the pleasure in the past to sell most of Mike’s builds and buyers have had no complaints so if you like what you see and want to make an offer please contact me, I’m not looking for the high bidder just someone to enjoy the ride, please take note I reserve the right to end this auction at any time as the car here is listed on other sites for sale, so don’t wait, if you do this fine race car could be in someone else’s garage tomorrow.
