1951 STUDEBAKER STARLIGHT COUPE
Description
For Sale is my 1951 Studebaker Starlight Coupe. This car is quite rare plus the car was purchased from a 91 year old man who only drove it in nice weather and always kept it inside. The car never had any rust. Everything was removed from the car for a major drive train transformation. It now has a Mustang II tubular A-arm front suspension with coil over shocks. The rear end is a 9" Ford posi-traction w/355 gears. The car has disc brakes all around. The power source is a 500 cubic inch Cadillac engine. It's been bored 30 over, has an awesome cam, lots of polished aluminum parts, and 750 double pumper Holley carburetor.
The engine is equipped with a 150 shot of NOS. It has stainless steel headers with 3" exhaust all the way to the back.
The transmission is a 400 turbo with B & M super shifter. It has all new glass and rubbers. The windows and door all work excellent. All the gauges are VDO gauge and it has Painless wiring. It has bucket seats and console. The paint on the car is called Evening Orchid. It's a GM paint that was only used 1 year, in 1965. It's now base coat clear coat and looks very nice.
The interior of the car is not finished, but this way, the new owner can do it his way.
This vehicle does have a clear title.
This is an "AS IS" Sale - no returns. Buyer handles all shipping costs.
