Description

Runs and drives great, all the running gear is in excellent shape, 4wd works great. Needs nothing mechanically.
1.3 liter 4-cylinder stock engine, 5-speed manual trans., 4 wheel drive.
Showing 38,000 miles, but I figure it probably is 138,000.
Has some rust in the rear floorboards, and the lower rear corners of the quarter panels. Windsheild frame has rust and one of the wiper posts is missing. Wipers do not work. Windsheild glass is good. Windsheild frames on Samurais are bolted on, not welded, so they can be changed with hand tools. The wiper system is attached to the windsheild frame, and can be changed with the frame. See pictures for more.
Front floorboards are pretty good, some light surface rust but no heavy rust and no rust through.
Could really use a paint job. It still is in the factory paint, except the hood, which was spray canned at some point years ago and is peeling.
All the bumpers and fender flares are factory and still in place.
Quiet exhaust, good tires on factory wheels, nearly new 3-piece Rampage soft top. Top is made so the side panels and rear window zip out, leaving only the top panel, or any variation you wish.
Pretty decent front seats out of some other car.
Gauges work. Key cylinder is damaged and inoperable, has a switch for on/off and a push button for the starter, both of which work good.
Aftermarket ABS door panels. All the door handles inside and out are in good shape and work properly.
Has not been "improved" by any teenagers, does not look to have been off roaded in any serious way. Has probably been off road many times, but no mud packed up underneath or under the hood like you see when these have been in deep mud.
Engine is running in all the pictures. Purrs like a kitten, no smoke, very little leaking. The starter is occasionally doing the "clicky starter" thing when the truck has been parked for a long period, but when driven regularly it works every time.
Transmission is quiet and smooth, shifts tight, the transfer case is quiet and smooth, shifts properly, both axles are quiet. No howling gears or bearings.
Hop in and go!
Thanks!
