I've owned many FJ40's over the past few years but this is the nicest,cleanest,sharpest rust-free Fj's of them all. Reluctantly selling my beautiful and powerful 1963 Toyota FJ40 Chevy V-8 powered Land Cruiser. This Southern California vehicle and been frame off restored. Entire body and floor pans are rust and dent free. Has brand new red paint. Modified frame and body VIN matches. Clear California title in hand. Has a newly-rebuilt Chevy V8 with 500 miles on it, with aluminum Performer manifold and new Weber 4 barrel carburetor and fuel lines. Aluminum radiator and new water pump. New Chevy Turbo 350 3 speed automatic transmission with new pan and filter. Optima AGM battery. New aftermarket engine gauges. All vehicle wiring is new with new labeled fuse panel. All five front tie rod ends are new. New steering damper and steering stabilizer. New parking brake shoes and seal. Brakes have been serviced. Front seat frames have been powder coated and reupholstered. Dual rear jump seats are in nice condition. An custom-made attractive, removable wood side stake pieces have been added. New Bikini top with windbreaker panel. Soft doors are available.Tires are all-terrain 31" with only 500 miles on them. Has a receiver hitch on the front and rear with tow wiring 7 blade receptacle and rear utility light. Has 12 volt accessory power ports and added courtesy lights. Original instrument panel Temp and Charge gauges not working but has aftermarket gauges installed . The vehicle was used for years as a get-around for several school camps on Catalina island and was brought over to mainland California by the owner's family and has been in their family for at least 30 years. The vehicle has been garaged for most of its life. I have a service manual and a owner's manual and lots of receipts. Besides being a 52 year old truck, this is what the truck is needed to complete: A Stereo system (has leads for easy hookup), Heater, Windshield wiper arms.
