Description

I am a huge fan of these vehicles and I have had this one for 8 years and have done all of the upgrades while in my possession- it was stock when I got it. I frankly hate to see this one go because I set it up the way that I wanted it, and it's truly amazing on and off road. I get attention where ever I go, and I hate to say it, but there isn't a jeep in this class that can “out-wheel” me off road (sorry Jeep guys, I've had my fair share of Jeeps too). The wheel articulation is amazing and there is no rubbing or other issues with these 35” tires. These trucks are hard to find with this low of miles, and I will add miles as I drive it a few more times before I sell it. I will no longer be taking if off-road, it will be only driven around town on city streets. This is a 1994 vehicle with no airbags which is a plus when going off-road. It's truly one of the best stock vehicles to make into an off-road toy.

Clear/clean title in hand. It is NOT a salvage or rebuilt title.

Engine:

-New head gasket repaired at local Toyota Dealer. ($4,000 repair at 139,000 miles)

-New water pump and seals.

-New belts.

-Full tune up with plugs and wires.

-Just changed oil at 148,000 miles with Royal Purple Synthetic Oil and new filter.

-No oil leaks.

-Air and heat blows cold and hot, and on this model it even has the rear heat option that works great.

-There are no check engine lights on.

-Idle adjustment knob on dash. Great for off-roading

Running Gear:

-All brakes replaced in the last 5,000 miles.

-Front birfields removed, inspected, and reinstalled with new seals. No leaks.

-Mini-spool installed in transfer case to eliminate all-wheel drive, installed by 4x4 Land in Topeka, Kansas. This is a true 2 wheel drive truck on road, and fully locked 4 wheel drive off road.

-Front Warn lockouts installed on front hubs and center diff lock installed for true 4 wheel drive.

-Original transmission. 1994 is a desirable year due to the transmission installed at the factory, it's the strongest of all the years.

-Front End is 8.9” fully rebuilt with new seals and bearings at 141,000 miles. 529 ring and pinion gear ratio installed by 4x4 Land in Topeka, Kansas.

-Rear end is 9.5” fully rebuilt with new seals and bearing and is a FULL FLOATING rear axle. Highly desirable for it's durability off road. Matching 529 ring and pinion gear ratio installed by 4x4 Land in Topeka, Kansas.

-New double CV rear driveshaft by Tom Wood's Driveshafts installed. No u-joint rattle, smooth and works great with ½ ton u-joints.

-Both the front and rear ends have ARB AIR LOCKERS installed. This is the best in off-roading differential locking systems in my opinion. The compressor is installed under the hood, the compressor and front and rear switches are mounted in the center console for easy access while off-roading. If you don't know about these lockers, you should learn more about them as it was a $1,500 addition to this vehicle which makes it virtually unstoppable. The air lines were upgraded with stainless steel lines and both front and read work flawlessly.

-ARB snorkle installed and yes it is fully functioning. You hold your hand over the top of the snorkle and it will kill the engine. It is installed and sealed and works great.

-SLEE 4” lift kit installed by 4x4 Land in Topeka, Kansas. Includes new springs, shocks and all links and caster plates to give correct angles and drive. I ordered the optional heavy progressive springs for the rear to carry all of my gear. This lift kit was $3,200 shipped before installation and SLEE offers repair parts online in case you ever have an issue.

-Factory OEM wheels were bead blasted and professionally painted black. Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac Tires – 315/75/16 – have about 85% tread left with exact matching spare in cargo area that has 100% tread.

Electrical:

-2 batteries installed with stinger isolator. One battery is in the engine bay (for starting the truck) and one is mounted under the driver in the frame (for the ARB fridge and lights) and is protected by option installed on slider so no damage can occur off-road.

-6 KC lights installed. 4 x 8” KC Hilites 851's and 2 x 6” KC Hilites 124's. Dash mounted switches are clean and factory looking. These lights are super bright and are fantastic for night wheeling. 4 of these are long-range lights and 2 of them are wide spread.

-Front Warn M8000-S Winch installed. Has synthetic winch rope and remote control. Factor 55 Winch ProLink installed.

-Cobra 2500 watt (5,000 peak) Power Inverter Installed and mounted in rear cargo area with remote on/off switch. 3 outlets to run a ton of household items.

-Battery charging system installed so you can park the vehicle and plug into the a wall outlet to keep the ARB fridge running.

- Sony double-din stereo system. Has touchscreen, bluetooth, DVD video, mic, backup camera and iPhone connection. Brings the truck up to today's standards in technology. All working perfectly.

Exterior:

-Paint is in good shape and is shiny. No flaking clearcoat. However this is 24 year old vehicle and has scratches and normal wear and tear. IT DOES NOT HAVE PERFECT PAINT and it is NOT A SHOW TRUCK. The pictures are representative and the paint does actually look really good. It has been off-road and has all the typical signs of being off-roaded when you look up close. From 10 feet it looks great, and if you wanted to buff out all of the scratches, you might have a perfect looking truck, but that is up to you.

-SLEE “Short Bus” front bumper. Installed with grade 8 bolts and has the lights and winch mounted.

-MetalTech step/sliders. These are the best sliders in my opinion and have an extra skid plate for the cat converter.

-4x4 Labs rear bumper with gas can carrying and ladder. Gas cans included. I used them for tools and other items, never carried any liquids in them.

-SLEE transmission belly pan. Fully protects the transmission while off-road.

-Full top rack. Mounted with stainless hardware on the stock rails of the roof. Great for storing gear, but also a place for the road shower. It also has mounts for a hi-lift jack.

-Road Shower installed. This is a tank that you can fill with water, and will heat by the sun. Pressurize it with your on-board compressor and you have gallons of water to use at your disposal. A hose connection is included.

-Factory sunroof works great with no leaks. In fact, there are no leaks anywhere.

Interior:

-Factory tan with dark brown carpet. All in great shape with no rips or tears in upholstery. This was a high-end vehicle that sold for $41,000 in 1994 and all of the materials inside are in wonderful shape for it's age.

Accessories:

-ARB Fridge with slide-out rack. I was just going to keep this, but I mounted the rack in the cargo area and I'd have to fill the holes, so I'm just going to include it. Has ability to hook up to your home, to a cigarette lighter adapter but I've hard-wired a lead that is easily disconnected to take with you. Great for camping, and yes it can keep frozen items frozen if you want it to.

-PowerTank. I also mounted this in the rear cargo area and will come with the truck. This is a portable CO2 tank that can be used just like a compressor, but is more portable. I used it ofter with my air impact gun to help on the trails removing tires, and when it's fully loaded with CO2 it can air up to 40 tires. It's a great accessory that will come with a hose and gauge.

-CB radio and antenna installed and working.

So here's the bad:

-Speedometer has some sort of electrical glitch. I'll be driving down the road and the speedo will just drop to zero. Then come back on again and operate normally. The cruise control works great, but is connected to the speedometer so when this happens the cruise turns off. I put minimal effort into solving this issue, but I want you to be aware of it. It is electrical.

-With the addition of the big tires, I geared the front and read differentials way down to accommodate. I installed 529 gears in case I ever wanted to go to 37” tires. This means that the speedometer is running FASTER that your actually going. If it says 85 miles an hour, you're actually going about 75 miles an hour. There is a fix for this at SLEEOFFROAD.COM but I didn't really care about it. It also means that the miles are adding up on the truck faster than you'd expect. Not by much, but it will add up. I didn't care, but I needed to say it.

-There is one dent on the truck and it's behind the gas can carrier. You can't see it when the rear bumper arms are closed, but when you open it you can see it. Not an issue for me, so I left it and does not impair any functionality of anything.

-There is typical rust. Bottoms of doors showing signs, bolts, under carriage, etc. I'll take any pictures that you want me to, but it's been in my garage for the last 8 years and does not sit outside.

-There is a small exhaust leak. It was never an issue for me, but you can hear it coming from the catalytic converter area. Its a small air leak that “ticks” not a loud “piece of junk” sound. Didn't bother me enough to worry about it.

-The ABS light is on, and will always be on. This is a result of the front lockouts being installed. That upgrade disables the ABS on the vehicle, which gives the warning light. See SLEEOFFROAD.COM if you want to more about it. The brakes work perfectly just the light is on.
