The car was originally sold new to a gentleman in Wisconsin who owned it for approximately 8 years. He drove it sparingly and only put 5,xxx miles on it. It was maintained completely stock during this time and literally parked in a barn wrapped under heavy bed sheeting, this car was treated like no other. After the original owner owned it it was then sold to another gentleman in Iowa who performed the following modifications. I have spoken extensively with him and the quality of work he did on this car along with Sound performance (they did tuning and several items on the initial build) is second to none. The build was completed when the car had around 12,000 miles I believe.
During my ownership I replaced the following;
- Turbo PTE 6870
- Injectors ID1700
- Clutch RPS Twin carbon (less than 500 miles)
- 1998 conversion
- Updated proefi with advanced functions and flex fuel capability
- Wheels / Tires (less than 500 miles)
- alignment
- Work performed by JMS Racing in San Antonio, Texas.
The car was on a slightly older turbo setup when I acquired it so I took the opportunity to update it with the latest, it made 940 RWHP at approximately 32lbs of boost and ran a trap speed of 147mph at SIV2016 under hot desert weather which corresponds with the power it is making.
Exterior:
The entire car with the exception of the rear bumper is wrapped in clear bra. The car is 100% original paint in perfect condition. The clear bra (as expected) has a few nicks thus serving its purpose of protecting the paint. The original hood does not have clear bra, but has been in storage for the past few years and will be included with the sale. The car never sees rain and is always in a garage.
The wheels and tires have less than 500 miles and were purchased new from Real Street Performance.
Window tint on ALL windows including a very light tint on the front windshield to protect the interior from UV rays. Inspections are not and issue and I didn’t even notice it had tint until I replaced the registration sticker.
All factory plastic shields and underbody plastics are installed on the car.
OEM european hood scoop on a factory hood currently on the car. OEM hood with VIN sticker is also included.
Interior:
The interior is completely stock with the exception of the pro-efi CAN display. The leather is nice and supple and still has that new car smell. Everything works and the A/C is ice cold. Original floor mats are included and have not been used.
OEM radio is only missing two of the little rotary knobs for the treble and bass. I have not looked for them, but I am sure they are few dollars.
Overall this car is extremely solid, I took it to SIV 2016 and it ran awesome, it has never given me a single issue, the tune is very conservative and reliability was drilled into my tuners head. It starts right up no matter the temperature or what fuel it’s running.
