Toyota Supra Turbo 2JZGTE
Description
I have a very good condition 1991 Toyota Supra Turbo, 5 Speed, Targa top. with a JDM 2JZ-GTE non VVTI engine swap. I would not recommend this car as first car for any new young teenage driver. This is a car for the car enthusiast who experienced behind the wheel of powerful sport cars. It does smile per mile. This is my weekend, nice day weather car that I cruising around town and to car shows. I believe the Supra MK3 is one of the most beautiful Toyota cars made in the 80s.
I'll described this Supra with the 2JZ-GTE experience to those who haven't been in one. This MK3 supra is a beast in sheep clothing. It has a two step, race mode launch control system. To activated it, depress the clutch pedal on one foot, and the gas pedal on the other to open it evil side. Once that happen, the secret and the beautiful and beastly sound of the legendary 2JZ-GTE engine roars to life, three foot flames along with loud cracking explosions coming out of the 3 inch custom exhaust will have people either running for cover or cheering. By now, it wants to go fast and destroyed other fast objects on the roads. Just a simple of releasing the Exedy twin disks racing clutch, and the Nitto 555R drag radials scream and moan to find traction. It's like being in a rocket launch, as to getting pin hard against the seat as speed increase ever faster and faster with every gear shift. Try to keep it on the road as this car will find your limit of fear and step on it. Luckily, it has huge Brembo brakes to bring it back to civilize speed. If the launch done right, you'll find it's very satisfying experience, while your passenger scream like a little girl. Why do you need such a car, as a real man, you already know the answer. Otherwise, ask your wife.
The body is in good shape, no rust. The 7M-GTE original turbo motor was the down fall for the MK3. For reliability and performance and power, the legendary 2JZ-GTE was selected. The new motor is smooth, high revving and responsive. The JDM 2JZ-GTE swap was done 5 years ago; it has USDM cams, Precision 6266 ball bearing turbo, Tuned by Empire Performance of Long Island NY at 20 psi, making 545hp with 93 octane. The turbo can support up to 800hp with race fuel and retune if you want more power. The fuel lines was replaced to handle E85 fuel. It has dual Walbro fuel pumps, dynamic 850cc injectors, Radium 3 ports fuel rail. Aem fuel regulator, Aem stand alone computer. The tune is lock by Empires performance of NY. 5 speed R154 transmission, Cube short shifter, OS giken twin disks clutch, Brembo front brakes calipers from a Mecedes S500, slotted drilled rotors. 2 steps launch control. 3" custom turbo back exhaust. Precision 36 mm wastegate, Tail bov. External waste gate. SX front mount intercooler, custom intercooler pipes, 3 row mishimoto aluminum radiator, all new e85 fuel lines. Cr exhaust manifold. Rare 1998 polished Supra tt wheels wrap in new Nitto drag radial tires. God speed coil-over suspension, battery relocation, derail electric fans, new belts and seals, Many more parts with huge money spent on this set up.
The original paint is a single stage, there is a crack on lower portion of the bumper. The car doesn't have AC, it was deleted because of the engine swap for more speed.
