This was the “Top of the line” Toyota Camry in 1991 and also the last year of this Camry body style. If you’re kinda old (like me) you’ll remember these cars as being THE most reliable vehicle on the road at that time.
Driven just over 6000 miles per year, the original owner was located in southern West Virginia and has since passed away. The owner had a minor collision in 2013 with this car and the insurance company decided that the car was just too old to repair. So the owner decided to buy the car back from the insurance company with a salvage title and used some of the proceeds to have his beloved Camry put back on the road again. Thus, the car has a “reconstructed title” and has had an “enhanced” inspection both in the state of West Virginia as well as Pennsylvania.
It looks like both sides of the Camry have been repainted. Although the body shop where the Camry tried to match the original color, there is a minor difference in the shade of grey that was chosen. It’s a 25 year old car so I’m sure that that had something to do with the color variation. It’s really not obvious until you stand very close to the car. Also, the A/C has been converted to R134 and blows ICE COLD.
