Description

For sale is my 1975 Triumph TR6. I bought the car in December as a good solid driver that I could restore as I drove it. Unfortunately, I must sell my car as my knee replacements and lack of garage space has made it too difficult to keep.
Description: The car is very solid. Its been painted once and I would rate the paint as an 8 out of 10. There are no dents or dings in the body of the car. The paint does have some paint chips on the edge of the trunk and engine hood which have been touched up (a bottle of touch up paint and two of spray paint cans will be included). The interior is brand new. This includes a carpet kit from British northwest (dynamat installed), all new interior panels, new seat belts and Mazda Miata seat with new leather covers from “Mr. Mikes” leather seat covers. All electrical items work on the car. The car has a new brake master cylinder, rebuilt brake booster and braided steel brake lines. The car’s front end has been totally rebuilt using the urethane “Magic Kit” from The Roadster Factory. This includes all bushings, ball joints, trunions as well as new Koni front shocks and 4 new Goodparts springs (in the front and rear). The car has 4 new Hankook 205/65/15 tires and the front end has been aligned. Under the hood the engine seems to be very solid, new tune-up parts have been installed, the radiator has been recored with a modern core, a new battery and battery box liner and a new radiator shroud. The car idles a little high once warmed up so the carburetors might need a little adjusting. The transmission shifts smoothly with no grinding. The muffler has been patched, so a new one would be in order at some point. The convertible top has some fogging in the window and small tears by the snaps. The top will be down most of the time so I’m not sure how important this might be. The car has a few small oil leaks, it’s a Triumph after all. The original seats are included in the sale of the car (all though if the car is shipped, they could require separate shipping which would be paid by the buyer)
The car is being advertised locally and I reserve the right to end the sale early. Shipping of the car would need to be arranged by the buyer. A $1000 deposit would be due with in 24 hours of the end of the auction.
