Triumph Spitfire w Overdirve and Leather

Description

This is a 1979, Triumph, Spitire. This is one of two years built with a factory electric fan and radiator shroud. This car was purchased new and spent most of its life in California and is 100% rust free. The engine was rebuilt to SVRA specs by ex racer Russ Moore and the dual SU carbs were rebuilt and tuned by Joe Curto of Long Island New York. All service during my ownership has been performed by Layland Motors of Canton Ohio, a BL certified shop.

The top is new and is custom made of the best Sunbrella fabric.
The seats are leather and were purchased from Canley Classics UK.
The steering wheel and dashboard are mahogany.
The suspension has been thoroughly refurbished with urethane bushings.The steering rack is a new short ratio rack.Koni adjustable shocks.
Wheels are are Minilite knock offs.
Brake system has been refurbished master cylinder and all rubber parts throughout including drilled and slotted rotors.
Electric fuel pump and pressure regulator added to properly accommodate dual carbs.
A 13 row oil cooler has been integrated into the factory radiator shroud.
Manual Choke.Stainless Steel 4-2-1 long tube headers.Monza dual glass pack exhust.
The OVERDRIVE transmission works perfectly and is serviced yearly.
The Paint is a very good in the original color with some slight chipping behind the wheels. The respray was completed about 8 years ago.
The tires are good with 50% life left.
Black Cockpit cover is perfect and all of the snap positions function.
The bumpers are chrome and the black bumperettes are the British design for the same year (79) Spitfire (sourced from Rimmer UK).
Currently running a GT6 rear differential for the 3.23 ratio. The original fully functional 3.89 rear diff goes with the sale.
The VIN is correct and all other numbers are correct for a 1979 Carmine Red Triumph Spitfire with OD.
