Description

1976 Triumph Spitfire (California emission model)
This is a running driving project - Starts, stops runs and drives well - Has been in storage since late 1990's early 2000's - Garaged ever since
1.5 Liter four cylinder (1500)
Good compression ( Cold check 130 psi each cylinder approx)
Electronic ignition
Stromberg carburetor (side draft, manual choke)
Less than 50 miles since transmission rebuild (4 speed non-overdrive single rail) have receipts for parts
New clutch (disc and pressure plate)
New Spark plugs, timing checked and tappets have been adjusted less than 50 miles ago
Shelby racing wheels, decent tread on tires
New brake pads and shoes. rebuilt brake master cylinder- Parking brake does work-
Only the mechanical work to make it a safe running and driving car has been completed -
All cosmetic and body work still needs to be completed (ie: original unmolested condition) - it's a blank canvas
Body is in decent condition with very minimal rust, does have a few dings etc (see pics)... Original British racing green paint (BL Code 75) in poor shape
Interior needs reconditioning - seats are knackered-
Comes with convertible soft top and frame in fair condition (needs clear vinyl windows replaced) and also comes with the factory removable metal top-

Clean Oregon title - tags are due
This is a great running and driving project but;
Not recommended as a teenagers "first car" as it has non-power brakes, no power steering, no stereo and no air conditioning! It's simply a classic British racing/touring car. It handles like a go-cart and has a surprising amount of power for it's size!
