Description

Here we go.
I started with a disassembled 1974 Standard Beetle stripped of paint and sitting pretty. No rust other than on the surface so in order to show off this great body I applied a clear over the car as it sat. The previous owner had other plans and had primed a quarter panel. Oh well. All new seals on the windows.
Suspension-- I put in and adjustable dropped beam with new ball joints and then added Monroe air shocks to the front for ride. It will lay the beam when aired out. The front end was stretched 10 inches with a Volksrodshop beam extender and I custom made a frame brace. Steering was corrected with a u-joint shaft from a Super. A bus speedo cable lets you know how fast you are going. New brakes front and rear let you stop. The hood needed a little notch to clear the steering box.
Interior-- I caught a lucky break here and found a car with a newly reupholstered interior so I put it in here. Comfy and looks nice. The stereo plugs the oem hole but isn't hooked up. You couldn't hear it anyways. The glove box lid is autographed by Street Outlaws Big Chief, Chuck, Lutz, and Doc. They must approve lol. A SCAT shifter puts the power to the wheels and shortens the shift for you.
Engine-- The 1600 engine ran when I got it and it runs better now. New coil, plugs, wires, distributor, points, condenser, fuel pump and filter. I added a Bugpack header and custom pipe with a rain cap. This one is loud. LOUD.
So if I didn't cover it just ask. It runs. It drives. It has a clear title. It issuper fun. Turns heads. It can be yours. Cash on delivery. Deposit on Paypal is fine. Its not a new car its for attention and it doesthat well
