Description

This is my 1972 bug. Very nice looking car to be 44 years old. The front end has been lowered. It has a adjustable front suspension and lowered spindles. The stance can be set higher if you don't care for the lowered look. The drive train has been completely restored with all new steering and suspension parts replaced with new or overhauled parts. The engine is a 1600 dual port with a holly2 barrel carburetor aftermarket exhaust and a hot sounding cam. Runs very good and strong.The body is good and straight very little rust most has been repaired. The interior looks excellent.Has a pioneer sound system. Custom steering wheel and shifter. The car has been a daily driver for about 2 years and kept in a garage when not out driving.List of work done and parts replaced.Complete brake system including Drums and brake shoes front and rear, all 4 wheel cylinders, master cylinder, all metal brake lines and rubber brake hoses, brake fluid reservoir and hoses.The fuel tank, cap and fuel sender, clutch cable clutch disc, pressure plate and release bearing. The release bearing shaft bushing and spring. Steering box, tie rods and end bearings, front shocks and steering dampenerand ball joints.The rear axles stripped and painted, cv joints repacked cv boots replaced. Tires front 145/45R15 rear 205/65R15. Generator and battery positive cable. All window and door seals.Everything listed above was replaced with brand new parts except as noted during the drive train restore about 2 1/2 years ago and has about 10k miles since done.The engine was overhauled 6 years ago and has about 30k on it. The transaxle has been cleaned inspected gear oil changed, New rubber mounts installed.
