1974 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon

Start cruising in a popular Volkswagen Bus. Volkswagen buses have always been a popular & iconic vehicle. Like the Volkswagen Beetle, the van has received numerous nicknames worldwide, including the "microbus", "minibus" and because of its popularity during the counterculture movement of the 1960's, the Hippie van/wagon, still remains iconic for many people today. This bus is owned by Kuhly's Import Specialist in Quincy, Illinois. This VW bus was used has a general parts runner/shop vehicle. The bus has a 1.8 litre engine that has approximately 10k miles on it. It starts right up & it runs strong. The engine hashydraulic lifters. There is a Pertronix ignition & coil. A new clutch was installed when the motor was installed. The 4 speed transmission shifts smooth. This bus is 44 years old. As shown in the photos this vehicle is in good shape, but it does have issues that need to be mentioned. There is some rust in different areas. There are some spots that have gone through the metal. The front of the vehicle has bondo that is starting to crack. The tires have good tread but the sidewalls have age cracks. The heater boxes are intact but the cable needs to be hooked up. The wipers work. The lights work. The rubber around the front window has some cracks. There are tears in the headliner. The odometer reads 65211. The actual miles on this vehicle is undetermined. There is a spare tire & front vehicle mount for the spare tire that is not shown in the photos.
