1967 67 Volkswagen Beetle originally from Georgia slammed patina Empi
Description
Up for your consideration and auction is my 1967 Volkswagen Beetle. This beetle spent the majority of its 51 years in the south, Georgia before making its way to New England a little over two years ago. While in New England the car spent its time in a garage when not being driven. The Beetle has been lowered with a 4" narrowed adjustable front beam, lowered spindles, rear sprint plates moved/lowered a spline. The Beetle also features new wheel bearings, brakes & liners, battery and Empi style rims with newer tires. It has a great patina to the paint and finish that everyone loves. The Beetle was repainted once during it's life from what I can tell, but I was told that the interior paint is original. It features a stock 1500cc engine that runs great. The clutch grabs gears easily still. From the pics you can see that the pan is in great condition. The Beetle has pop out rear windows that help to create an excellent air flow while driving. The radio is a Retro Sound style radio with upgraded speaker that is in the stock dash location. It sounds great for one speaker in the car but can be easily upgraded with the many options that can be found online.
Being from Massachusetts I will have title in hand that will be accompanied with Bill of Sale that will be turned over at the time that full funds have been received.
The Bad: -Drivers headlight and blinker isn't working nor are the reverse lights. Most likely a minor wiring issue that I don't have the time to troubleshoot -Door lock pins are broke so the doors won't lock/unlock with the key. A minor repair -Interior panel on rear drivers side has a small warp to it
That's it, the Beetle is a fun car to drive that gets lots of thumbs up and waves on the road.
