Description

Hello and welcome to my auction, for sale today is a 1982 VW Rabbit pickup truck that I have restored from the ground up using genuine German parts, I bought the truck a couple of years ago in Nevada and it had been sitting for heavens knows for how long, but I liked it and bought it because it had no rust, it has been a labor of love restoring this baby for the past year or so, I do this as a hobby from my house after nearly 35 year experience working on VWs, no expense was spared in the restoration, hope full the pictures will tell everything, the motor was torn apart and sent to the machine shop where brand new Kolben Schmidt 1st oversized piston/rings were installed, rebuilt connecting rods, all new seals/gaskets, new heavy duty radiator, all new coolant hoses, rebuilt injector pump and rebuilt injectors, brand new TOPLINE cylinder head, etc etc,the body was sanded down by me to bare metal and resprayed in the original factory color LE8Y Inca Brown, the interior was torn apart and redone by my wife who did an amazing job on the seats and the headliner, all new brakes and suspension front and rear, rebuilt A- arms with new bushings and ball joints, rebuilt rack and pinion, new tires from big o, brand new Bosh battery along with new cables. The bed was sprayed with Hercules bed liner and I installed the treated wooden slats because it looks good, this truck dosent need any thing just jump in and drive, the last time I sold another fully restored VW pickup was last year and the gentleman who bought it flew down and drove the truck back to New Mexico and gave me glowing feedback. If you need further information please do not hesitate to email me. Thanks for looking and happy bidding
