You are bidding on a Rust Free, Original Paint, Unrestored, 1964 Volkswagen Beetle. This is a very nice well taken care of VW. The car has the original numbers matching engine and transmission as well as some great options. The car is Beige with beige and brown interior. It has only 99,000 original miles on it. The original rubber mat, carpet trim, door panels, steering wheel and under dash shelf are in great condition. I have the original Bill of Sale for the car from Patterson Motors, Inc of Mesa Arizona. The car was sold new with the following factory Options as listed on the original Bill of Sale:
Seat Belts and Mirrors
Under Coat
Radio
White Wall Tires
Under Dash Shelf
Rear and Front Gravel Guards
Luggage and engine compartment lights
Back Up Light
Door Handle Shields
Engine Door Lock
Camber Compensator
Bumper Stiffeners.
The car was sold new on March 28 1964 to Mr. and Mrs. Brown of Tucson Arizona. They moved to Del City Oklahoma around 1972. The car was purchased for Mrs. Brown. She kept the car until she died around 2013. Her Daughter took the car to Florida and sold it to a fellow who kept the car until earlier this year. The car has always been garage kept and well maintained. It still has the old biased ply White wall tires on it and they drive and look great even with the age they have on them. The car was Z-barted (rust protection) when new and it paid off with a rust free car. The car has all of its original body panels and has never had any rust repair. The floors, doors, luggage compartment, spare tire area, the whole car, is rust free. The paint shines great and is all original except for some spot painting on 3 of the fenders. The interior is all original except for the two front seat covers have been replaced several years ago. The car starts and runs great and drives Excellent. I would drive this car anywhere. Everything works great on the car. The car even still has the curb feeler on the passenger side, the clip on rear view mirror dimmer, both original keys and tag, the red and white reflective tape on the bumpers that was popular back in the 60’s (do you remember this?). This is a very nice original car that is perfect for car shows, Cruises, or a museum.
The car is selling with No Reserve so please look at the pictures and feel free to email or call 865-621-4012 with any questions.
