1984 Volkswagen Rabbit L 3 Door 1.6D 5 speed with manual and specialty tools

Description

This is a 1984 L model with no air conditioning. Purchased as a commuter in 2004 in southern California, only one Nebraska winter. Driven mostly in SoCal, then Flagstaff, AZ and surroundings, Tucson-Flagstaff and back on the weekends, then moved east and put it on a flatbed to Omaha in 2009. I parked it in my garage in December 2011, as I'd purchased another daily driver and didn't want it to endure another salty winter. It hadn't been started at all until 12/5/16. There's almost 207K on the odometer but it stopped working reliably some time in 2007.Condition is as follows:The car runs and drives, but needs mechanical work.Tires, Brake master cylinder, glow plugs, struts, half shafts, and timing belt all replaced during ownershipMajor mechanical issues:
