1992 Volvo 940

Description

Selling our 1992 940 Volvo. This is a rear wheel drive Volvo with the b230 4cyl engine(non-turbo).
This car has never been smoked in. Runs well, auto trans. It has 167kmi on the odometer, which started working sporadically a few years ago, but little miles were put on it since that time. Cruise control works. Sunroof works in both positions, and the rain deflector that was on the sunroof is included. I installed a trailer hitch on it when I got the car, and only used that to pull a little utility trailer a couple of times. I had a lot of work done a couple of months before I took it off the road last year. I had a new fuel pump assembly installed. This car has the Regina fuel injection system, and I went to the dealer, Capital Volvo, and paid for a complete brand new assembly. That was almost $500 just for the part! When I had that installed I also had a new Walker/Starla exhaust system put on. I just put a new battery (Everstart 900cca $135) in it, radio now needs code. Included is a set of 4 early 740 turbo alloys with studded snows that have great tread. The power drivers window goes up and down fine, but it clicks at the last 1/4" when putting it up, and I would just use my hand to push it up the last bit. When new exhaust was installed they didn't replace the gasket where the manifold pipe meets the tubes, so there is a little exhaust leak. I have the gasket should be fairly simple to put on, or have done. I expected my son to continue to drive this car through college, and that is why I held onto it and had all the work done, but he has since taken my S60 after I bought a newer one. Car has a clear,clean, and open title.
