1982 volvo 242 glt

You are looking at a very nice 1982 Volvo 242 GLT non-turbo model which has a Bosch computer-operated fuel injection system connected to a B21F MPG engine and a manual four-speed transmission with electric overdrive...a pleasure to drive anywhere and, for an older Volvo, still turns heads!! The following are options on the car:

• Blaupunkt sound system with CD, USB, SD, and Bluetooth with front and rear speaker system;
• Bosch running lights;
• Sunroof;
• Flair rear windows;
• Power steering and brakes; and
• Classic Enkei aluminum 7x15 wheels riding on 200/60 Toyo tires.

All glass is clear; windows and sunroof operate properly. Cabin and trunk carpet are in good condition and areas are very clean. Volvo tool kit, jack and spare tire are in place. Dash is cracked in several places, but a nice dash mat is in place plus a new molded dash cover will be provided. All interior instruments and outside electricals are operational. There is no rust on this vehicle which has spent most of its life in Georgia.
The paint is original, but is tired; it has many nicks, scratches, bumps, etc, however, at ten feet, as the photos show, it is still impressive in appearance. All seven GLT polymer body moldings are in place. The following are new items replaced or added since I have owned the car:

• Fuel injectors;
• Radiator, thermostat and hoses;
• Front and rear seat covers (made in Sweden for this car);
• Front wheel bearings;
• Oxygen sensor;
• Fuel filter;
• Exhaust system (from front collector to rear);
• Vacuum switch;
• Bosch distributor cap and rotor;
• Bosch ignition coil; and
• Bosch fuel injection temperature sensor.

Take a look at my photos...I believe they speak well of this beautiful Volvo! Motor, transmission, overdrive, brakes and suspension appear to be strong.
I am at the time in my life that I am willing to allow someone else to have fun driving and taking care of this Classic Volvo!
