You are looking at 1970 Volvo P1800, restoration started and now for sale.Comes from Rhode Island, It was sitting for a long time, retired for engine issues. Guy I purchased Volvo from, had an eye on it for years, but it simply wasn't for sale, and then it was. He brougth it home, started restoration. Now he moved out of state. I ended up buying it thinking I will finish what he started, but whom am I kidding...... I have zero time on my hand, lots more projects waiting, so time to let go, make some room and start all over again.
As seen on first 15 pictures, that is present condition, then it's sorted chronologically ( sort of ) so look at the pictures for story.What was done is the engine, it was rebuilt by a gentlemen in Rhode Island specializing in old Volvo's. It was test fired up and now its waiting for the rest of the car to be completed.Body has been mostly stripped and exposed, so its obvious what you getting. All that is on the pictures, is with the car, minus bumpers, they are MIA. All glass is with the car, windshield will need replaced or repaired, it has a crack, All else is good.There are seats, and in pretty decent shape, door cards and side cards are complete but will need repair.Fuel tank is out, not hooked up, and will need cleaned and sealed.
