1990 Volvo 240 DL Wagon
Description
I have a 1990 Volvo 240 station wagon. Runs great. I bought it to fix up and tweak and have gotten it to be my daily driver. It has a VA state inspection good through April 2017 and doesn't need emissions anymore.
Car drives and handles amazingly well for it's age.
I got the car with a broken odometer at ~149k and fixed it. Previous owner said it broke shortly after hitting that point.
Currently done the following in the past few months:
Spark plugs/wires/oil change/other basic tune up items
New battery
New taillamp
Replaced catalytic converter and part of exhaust
Rear pads/caliper
Replaced headlamps with Glass European ones (E-codes)
Installed IPD front and rear swaybars
4 new Tires
Replaced flame trap
New Kenwood radio (Old one didn't work)
AC has been upgraded to accept the newer 134a refrigerant by a Volvo dealer but it currently isn't blowing cold. Heater works great and it feels like you're walking into the entrance of Hell when you turn it on full blast.
Wheels are OEM but plasti-dipped to have a dark gold appearance. It can be easily peeled off to have the original shiny chrome color.
I have the front bumper trim pieces and some other misc parts but they are not installed.
There is some rust on the lower part of the passenger side front door frame. See last photo below.
This 240 runs and drives great but it is a 26 year old car. Because of this I'm selling it As-is. Feel free to contact me if you want to look it over and take it for a test drive.
