Designed to be a drivable Street Rod for Cruising and Showing that features the following :
ØFiberglass body (street version) with tilt front end, suicide doors, metal running boards!, the iconic rear spare tire inset with Willys graphic, widened rear fenders and rolled rear body pan. Hood, door, and truck handles all removed for a smoother look.
ØTommy Carr (former Oakland Roadster Show winner) applied striking custom metallic “intense blue” paint with subtle pearl multi colored ghost flames, pin striping, and several graphic highlights. That, when combined with the chrome components, gives the car an eye-popping appearance that exemplifies the hot rod look that makes this ’33 Willys coupe a real crowd pleaser.

ØDropped spindle tubular straight front axle with transverse elliptical spring, chrome split parallel radius rods, Pro SM300 chrome shocks, and power assisted disc brakes. All bushings and grommets replaced recently
ØDana 60 rear end with cruising 3:70 gears, chrome rear end cover, coil-over adjustable QA1 aluminum shocks, chrome adjustable 4-link suspension bars, panhard bar, and power assisted disc brakes. All bushings and grommets replaced recently.
Ø454 cu. in. big block Chevy engine (75-90 passenger car) with:
oHolley 4160 750 cfm 4 barrel carburetor (recently rebuilt) sitting atop an aluminum manifold with heat isolation plate
oPolished aluminum valve covers,
oChromed intake air filter cover and oil dip stick
oMild Comp camshaft
oMallory distributor with Petronix electronic ignition plus a Fireball coil
oAluminum radiator with fan shroud and polished aluminum overflow/vent tank.
oAll fluids were recently changed.
ØSummit electric continuous flow fuel pump, two inline filters, adjustable pressure regulator with a fuel pressure gauge to insure proper fuel flow all combine to deliver gas through new fuel lines to the Holley 750 cfm carburetor
ØExhaust from the engine is initially handled by heat coated Sanderson headers, followed by 3” exhaust pipes and mufflers culminating with chrome turned down tips. Combined they make for that powerful “street rod sound” that matches the ’33 Willys appearance
ØRear mounted (almost new) battery with external battery on/off switch and charging lugs
ØTurbo 400 transmission with a shift kit and chrome pan, transfer the power to the rear end via a balanced drive shaft.
ØTrunk mounted 17 gallon Jaz fuel tank with external mounted filter and vent
ØBright polished Centerline Wheels with Goodyear Eagle 195/60R15 front tires and rear 29X15.5X15 Mickey Thompson Street Pro tires.
**(The owner/seller of this 1933 Willys street rod is Mel “Doc” Bryson of “Bryson and Sons Racing” who raced ’33 Willys cars in A/GS (gas) from 1968-1971 and then again in AA/GS or AA/S (alcohol) from 1992-2003. He was runner-up at the Denver 1993 World Gasser Championship, in 1995 at Indy he set all NHRA & Goodguys drag racing MPH and ET records for modern era "Gassers", as well as setting numerous other tack records while winning many races across the Western United States before retiring from active drag racing)
