Description

Up for your consideration is a vintage 1952 Willys M38A1. This is a very early example of the M38A1 with a split windshield and fold down front grill. This Jeep was stored in a barn for many years and although it needed mechanical attention and paint, it was in remarkable condition. All systems were checked, fluids replaced, fuel pump and carburetor rebuilt, new lined fuel tank installed as well as new water proof plugs and wires. I have the original bows for the canvas top but the canvas was not salvageable. The Jeep has only been driven on sunny summer days so I decided not to replace the canvas. The tires are newer military non-directional. Everything works down to the vacuum window wipers! This one will not go long. I've seen similar condition sell for over $15K.
