Description

Do you recognize this celebrity? This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS is a former SEMA show car that was used to demonstrate Sony products, but as you see, there's a ton more custom work. From the amazing stripe package, to the full custom interior, to the performance-built 454 V8, this is the coolest Camaro you will ever get your hands on.Everyone will instantly see that this coupe isn't stock because there is truly nothing like it out there on the road. Look at that dual SS-style stripe on the cowl induction hood. Have you even seen it in a custom flame fade like this is before? What about the custom fender vents? Or the LED taillights? Yup, this is the coolest Camaro going. It's a six-figure build, and you can tell just by how straight the body panels are. That's how you get the orange stripe to look like a continuous wave running down the entire length of both sides. This bold color also separates the pearl white and silver in the two-tone. Plus, just like the best estate homes and yachts, this car has its name on it Pace Maker. The final touch to keep everyone mesmerized is a set of staggered Petrol wheels that give this performance machine the perfect aggressive stance. This was a car to showcase Sony products, so you know there's a lot going on inside. It has been give the full restomod treatment. Katzkin re-skinned the power bucket seats from a late model Pontiac GTO in a gray leather that coordinates with the outside color, and the orange stitching matches the exterior stripe too. In fact, the door panels also carry the same gray with orange trim that wraps around the interior. There's even custom orange interior lighting to finish off this coordinating atmosphere. Sony provided the over $5K worth of equipment, including the AM/FM/XM stereo with auxiliary hookup and Bluetooth connection. Plus, the electronics giant had other goodies installed such as the sat nav system. As expected in a car this wired, there is a custom 11-speaker system that includes specially-built kick panels up front and a power subwoofer in the finished trunk. The driver gets all the best treats with a GT Grant steering wheel (and power steering) for your left hand, and a Hurst shifter for your right. There's a full set of gauges within the original dual pod setup thanks to the new Nordskog digital setup. All of this tells you there is something special under the hood. The engine bay is just as custom as the interior and exterior. It's got those great custom pieces like the fully painted fender wells, billet hinges, and all that show-stopping shine (including its Pace Maker name on the firewall.) But beyond all of the glamour is the function of a performance-built 454 cubic-inch big block. The V8 has been specially constructed with upgrades such as Holley 850 CFM four-barrel carburetor, TRW pistons, MSD ignition, Holley fuel pump, and ceramic coated Hooker headers. There's a whole lot more upgrades to this V8, but we don't have the room to list it here (give us a call for all the details.) You better believe this monster motor makes an intimidating rumble out of the MagnaFlow dual exhaust with performance X-pipe construction. And you get to make the most out of this at all times thanks to the control of the Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission that feeds the stout 10-bolt rear end. This one holds the road well thanks to Speed Tech control arms with air ride up front, and an air ride setup in the rear. Plus you get the roadholding of a full Baer 14-inch performance disc brake package at each wheel backed up by low profile Bridgestone tires. There have been plenty of magazine stories on this Camaro, and we can show you the receipts, and photos of this expensive build. But all you really need to do is see all of the Good Guys awards this SEMA car took home. So you already know the kind of attention this one will get at your favorite car shows. Call today!!
