Description

1973 True RS type LT Camaro. These RS cars pretty rare are hard to find. IF you have been looking and haven't found one, this will be a nice project. Buy it now and get started.
Has all of the original bracing that 73 Rally sports have. I have owned this rally sport since around 1998. I bought it for my son to drive. He sold the car back to me about 7 years ago. I have decided to sell it.
Has factory tachometer and gauges, Air conditioning parts are all there and original (compressor not working) deluxe interior (type LT stuff). Door panels are worth a lot. Drivers side has a damaged spot on it. Front belts were replaced with lap belts as the originals were broken. Rear belts original.
It is a great project car. I have the complete original engine in my shop. We rebuilt and installed a 4 bolt main 350 for him in 2000. The trans was rebuilt then as well. The car could be driven as is but I would not recommend it. It needs control arm bushings. It needs metal work. IT will most likely need 1/4s, a roof (vinyl top caused extensive rust on roof) fender patches on bottoms, and some repair on the front part of the rear frame rails. The floors are pretty solid. (see pics). The car needs typical new parts that wear out like door hinges, weather stripping, etc. Passenger door has a dent on it.
I have a flat hood i can put in place of the current hood on it if you prefer that. IF you pick the car up i can also include a roof I cut off of another car that you can use to replace the rusted one.
I have the car for sale locally and may end the listing at anytime.
Pick up in person preferred.
If I have to crate, package, etc. things, be prepared to pay for it and my time. IF you do your homework you should be able to find a reasonable shipping co. for shipping it. The original 350 2bbl engine would need to be shipped separately. The roof may (maybe . . . no guarantee) strap on top of the car.
Ask questions for more information. look at pictures carefully. Sold as is with no expressed or implied guarantees or warranties.
