1967 Chevrolet Camaro project car

Description

1967 Camaro sport coupe.

·Original inline 6 cylinder motor & 2 speedpower glidetransmission, column shift.Engine runs and transmission shifts, however, the car is not currently drivable because the brake system is partially disassembled.

·Right Stuff 4 wheel disc brake kit included ($850).The front spindles, pads, calipers, rotors and upper and lower ball joints (Moog) have been installed, rear brakes and brake lines not yet installed.

·I have replaced the following sheetmetal:

·Complete passenger side door (hardware and glass has not yet been transferred over from old door, but is included in sale, door is currently wired shut).

·Passenger and driver side full length floor pans.

·Passenger and driver side full rear quarter panels.Fully installed with the exception of being welded to the rockers since the rockers need to be replaced.

·Roofskin.

·Also includes the following sheet metal that has not yet been replaced.

·Very nice, clean, used driver side front fender.

·Aftermarket 2” Cowl induction hood.

·Passenger side rocker panel.

·Driver side rear shock tower

·New in box black carpet kit.

·Interior floor is covered with Eastwood brand X-mat thermo-coustic barrier.

The cowl tag is missing, but the vin tag in the driver side door sill is in tact and I have a clear Indiana title in my name.I have owned the car since October of 2011.I have always kept it in a clean, dry garage.Tires hold air and are in good condition.Odometer shows 83,000 miles, which I believe to be original as it has been off the road for many years, however, I cannot prove it. Has rallye wheels with beauty rings and center caps.Seats aren’t perfect, but are in pretty decent condition, but will need work.Will need interior door panels, headliner, and dash pad.Frame rails are clean. The original front and rear chrome bumpers are in good condition. Includes energy suspension front body mount bushings.

I really like the car, however, I have owned it for 7 years now, and just haven’t made enough progress, so it’s time for someone else to take over and finish up the project.Still needs some trunk/ shock tower work.Please feel free to email me with questions.Also, I would be more than happy to let you see it in person before you bid, and encourage you to do so.When I purchased the car, it ran, drove and shifted good, turn signals, headlights, brake lights, windshield wipers, etc. all worked good.Good solid foundation for a project that has a lot of potential.
