1967 Chevrolet Camaro V8 AT All Original Project
Description
This 1967 Camaro project is near 100% original in running condition. Car was built the 3rd week of December 1966 (12C) 327 V8 (V1215ME) NO VIN STAMP ON BLOCK (see pic), power glide, factory AC, power steering, correct heavy duty alternator (6M6), original AC compressor still operates, original heavy duty radiator (Tank OF). Motor runs very well, has exhaust leak. Power brakes. Under hood absolutely untouched except for battery and terminal ends is 100% correct. Power glide operates, shifts irradically. 10 bolt rear original to car (unknown ratio). Car can be lot driven.
The body on the car has about 70% original paint, signs of damage down right side that were repaired. All sheet metal is very usable except for quarter panels and inners should be replaced, but can be repaired. Floors in the car are absolutely rock solid. Rockers, both inner and outer are rock solid. Door shells and deck lid have minor bubbling, easy fix.
Black standard interior features tilt wheel, remote mirror, AM/FM, factory console with clock, and fold down rear seat. Interior is in very good condition, needs headliner and a dash pad. Passenger seat bottom has a tear. Carpet faded.
Trunk pan very good, surface rust (see pic), two drain holes drilled by previous owner are easy fix. Factory jack and antenna are in trunk. Dash panel needs minor repair on passenger side, easy fix.
Car is Tahoe Turquiouse. Car is exactly as the trim tag states. Everything works except the wiper motor (froze). Clear title.
