Description

I bought this truck from the city of Victorville California and drove it back to Ohio. The first photo shows it in the desert - it's home until a couple months ago.
I bring trucks from out west and the south, back to the midwest to re sell, to make a little extra money. It's not a perfect truck but it's RUST FREE. Never seen road salt. Look closely at the photos of the engine, the frame, the bolts on the exhaust manifold and the brake lines - you won't find one of the same year, with less corrosion for this price.
The engine starts easy, but has a miss. It's less noticeable when you are driving down the road. I haven't looked into it. The transmission shifts perfect and it steers pretty straight down the road.
The body of the truck is pretty straight, but the paint is peeling on the roof, so it could use a paint job. The utility body does not have rotted out bottoms like most & is in good shape. The bed area is enclosed with a sliding lid.
I bought the Napa battery brand new.
I drove this truck 2400 miles across the country. It will get you where you need to go, but it needs TLC. The main selling point is that it's rock solid from a corrosion standpoint. I am a little negotiable, but lowball offers will be ignored.
This truck is nowhere near perfect. Plenty of little things that need attention. The main selling point is that is has virtually zero rust. I believe it's better to start with a rust free vehicle and fix components, than to buy a rust bucket and everything works. Once a vehicle gets cancer - it's a losing battle.
cash is best. Otherwise you will have to wait for the check to clear & that takes time.
