1969 C20 CHEVY UTILITY BODY SERVICE TRUCK 396 RUST FREE CALIFORNIA SURVIVOR
Description
This was a former Butte County, Ca Search and Rescue Vehicle. I am relisting it because in my original auction the winning bidder never paid....PLEASE do not bid if you do not plan to honor your bid. It was purchased at County auction. It was originally red but was transferred to the Sheriffs Dept and was professionally painted white. It has a smooth running 396 big block V8 and a rebuilt 400 TH trans. It is virtually rust free except for some surface rust and has never left the state of California. The speedo reads 38,393 miles but I have no way to verify the low mileage. I do know it had 23,000 miles in 1998. It was last registered in 2011. It was parked in 2011 due to a bad transmission. I had the trans professionally completely rebuilt and I had a local shop install it and get the truck running again. It drives fine but may need some minor tuning. There are no dents except for the front grill and I can see no obvious past damage. It is very straight. There are the usual minor chips. All glass is good except for a cracked windshield. All the tool boxes and rear door lock and I have all the keys. It has what appears to be dealer installed AC. It does not work and may just need a charge? I currently have it on Non-Op but have clear title. Thanks for looking and if you need more info do not hesitate to ask.I am proud of my 100% rating and will answer any questions quickly and honestly.
