1966 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C2

Description

Purchased August 1975 (44 years) as the savings for a bedroom set would not fit in our house--so a Corvette instead! NCRS judged 2014, NO DEDUCTIONS for paint--unusual! Chevrolet offered this color only ONE year and only on the Corvette in 1966--of which only 1,400 cars were painted this color. Restored (not a frame off) 2013-14, mostly by a professional. Most of the front end removable area was sandblasted, epoxy primed and painted Car is not perfect, but close. We have driven the car over 1,000 miles + or -, and therefor the engine area is not pristine any longer. Engine block had been replaced in the past and correct number stamped. As far as I know all numbers match except passenger side window vent glass. No smoking ever in this car. 1st owner was a lady who quickly traded it back in, now deceased. 2nd owner was a man, deceased recently, and we have owned it ever since.
