Let me tell you about this Resto mod, Its a 1971 Chevrolet Camaro that has gone thru a Sub Frame off Restoration in the last 10 years. This Camaro was treated to a real nice base coat paint job that was completed the right way, First off the body on this car is nice and very straight, Also the Cortez Silver SS stripes have been added and done correctly front to back. At that time a 4" cowl induction hood was added and does it look good!
Take a look at the reflection of the Blue paint! Its a big wow factor anybody that sees this car in person. Also at the time of paint work the inner fenders were painted as well and then smoothed out custom firewall for again the wow factor this car has. The front and rear chrome bumpers are in great condition along with the stainless trim around the all the glass. Side mirrors were also painted to give it a custom look. Front spoiler was added but it has a small crack in it. oops but i just ordered a new one and i will install it for the next owner. This Camaro has a very aggressive stance that took some time to get right. Added was a set of 17" American racing aluminum polished wheels all around. All the bezels and exterior lenses and lights are in perfect shape. The interior is super clean and real nice with bucket seats, The dash cluster is all done with Autometer Gauges. Vintage air thats installed under the dash and wired but would need some finishing and parts to have that working. For additional cost i can have that done if desired. Alpine stereo with hyfonics amp and infinity speakers.
So now the best part! my favorite besides the paint color combo.
(The engine/driveline) Custom built engine decoded 1967 Big block 396 ci engine that was built-4 barrel Holley 800 Double pumper carburetor and tuned to perfection with fuel regulator. Edelebrok aluminum performer intake installed to match all components to flow perfectly. and YES! this car runs drives and stops PERFECT!- Engine produces 420+ horsepower.
New set of ceramic coated headers to make this badboy breath correctly. Has new set of Flowmaster H pipe dual exhaust and boy does this car sound amazing! (ask for video) Aluminum water pump, new alternator & battery. new aluminum radiator with electric fan on a thermostat control to keep this thing kool on hot summer days. Also Installed recently front power disc brakes, with master cylinder and power booster. Also installed new power steering kit. all driven by a seprentine belt system, with all new belts under the hood. Stops perfectly. Added new cowl vents new hood springs. All topped off with chrome valve covers and air filter. New built 4 speed Muncie M21 transmission with a 11inch clutch and resurfaced flywheel and hurst competition shifter. The frame has been tied in for the added power.
The suspension has been all gone thru with poly bushings for a great smooth ride, factory upper lower control arms with a set of coil overs installed for perfect ride height. The rear end has been gone thru with a 12 bolt posi with 373 gear ratio. and sub frame connectors. Its a perfect freeway car for long trips, This thing is very reliable. The rear has newer set of multi leaf suspension as well. The floorpans are in great rock solid shape (see photos) super clean underneath the entire car. I love to talk about this car because its probably the nicest one on the market for the price. Please go look at others and drive them.....then come see mine and drive drive i guarantee first person to come see it and drive will write the check! Its that nice of a car.
