396/auto/12bolt posi
Description
Very straight, solid, rust free(some small surface areas only) 1970 El Camino SS. Very few miles on the rebuilt 396. Block is stamped CE which is what you would have gotten as a replacement under warranty. 400 trans and 12 bolt posi rear. Buckets, horse shoe shifter, console. I have all the original trim and many emblems in good shape. Included but not shown: a pair of correct bucket seats, new carpet kit in box, new headliner. This was a project I started about 15 years ago. Started with frame off and painted the frame and replaced all body mounts and bushings. In all those 15 years I probably drove it less than 1000 miles. It sat unmoved for the last 10 years, I would start it once a month or so, until it was just recently driven 60 miles to my new home. Yes driven not towed. It's in great shape. Runs strong, no engine noises, good brakes, quick ratio steering box. I have all 4 original wheels plus 2 wider rears for bigger tires. All it needs is paint and interior to be put together and you have a 30k plus car.
