Description

INTERNATIONAL AND OVERSEAS BUYERS WELCOME! PLEASE CALL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR TO BUY IT NOW AT (76O) 805-8O38. This is a very rare and very cool Vintage 70s Adventure Machine. It is a 1975 Dodge Shorty Van that is a true Survivor from the 1970s and is probably the most rust free old Dodge you will find. It is a very rare example being a Shorty as well as a Pop Top Camper. The Vannin craze is huge right now and early Shorty Vans are as hot as anything. You could look for a long time to find another one like this. It is a lifelong Arizona and California van that has no rust. The floorboards and frame are excellent. It still retains it's original factory paint. It still looks great although it does have some patina that adds to the character. The paint is thin in spots on the stripes and a couple small dents but nothing big. It is powered by the big 360 cubic inch V-8 and a smooth shifting automatic transmission. The thing is surprisingly fast. It runs very well. It is smooth and strong. It never needs to be smogged. It has power steering, power brakes, and factory air conditioning. The AC clutch still kicks on but the system needs to be charged. The interior is original and clean. It has an ice box, propane stove, and sink/faucet. The rear couch folds into a bed. The front seats are original. They are in good shape but the fabric is frayed in spots. It is too cool like it sits. I would not consider re-doing anything. Newer tires, new battery. The Pop Top is opened easily by one person and is really nice with all of the extra head room that it allows. I have a set of curtains for it as well. This van is much nicer than most old Dodges you see. You can park it in a regular parking spot at the beach or be camping in a matter of minutes. It is a great van, not a perfectly restored Concours example so please be realistic with your expectations. If you appreciate originality, you will dig it. I do not think you will find a better one for the money. Clean, clear title in hand. I have an 1967 Ford Econoline Shorty Custom already, as well as a 1963 Econo RV project. I need some room. My dog Johnny Cash would not be included in the sale for all of the money in the world. I am located in Cardiff, CA in North County Coastal San Diego. Thanks!
