Description

1972 Ford Mustang Mach 1 “Q” Code C6 Auto GARAGE/Barn Find nearly rust free!

This is a Running and driving car. We rescued this car from the original owner. He bought it new off the show room. We were told the miles are original and has all original components other than the replaced holley 4bbl carb. This is an original unmolested survivor. Was sitting in the garage un used since 1990. Currently running and driving well. Will need some minor bodywork here and there. Owner tried some amature repairs on small dents/dings. Nearly rust free califonia survivor. Some small rust under the rear tail lights is all I could find. Floors, trunk, and all other panels seem rust free. Engine fluids and coolants all changed, all new rubber hoses, new thermostat, new fuel sending unit, new carb rebuild, new heater core, new spark plugs, new battery, cap, rotor, fuel filter/rubber lines, fuel pump, new flowmaster exhaust/sounds amazing!

Interior: Complete interior including factory seats radio ect. Will need some basic resto or drive as is. Dash pad has a crack, door panels and seat covers have wear, ect.

Brakes and suspension: Suspension is all stock as well as the brakes. Seems to be original and in good working order. Has front power disk brakes, front and rear sway bars, power steering.

Engine and Trans: Engine is a stock 351 with stock C6 trans. I'm told it's the original by the original owner but have not checked numbers. Runs very well but may need further tuning. No smoke or knocks ect...

Wheels and Tires: Has aftermarket wheels with fair tires. I will say these tires have good tread but should be replaced. This car has sat since 1990. I didn't want to change the wheels because you may not like my choice.

Exhaust: Factory manifolds with brand new dual flowmaster 2 1/4 aluminized exhaust. Sounds amazing!

Things to know: This is a running and driving project car. Car will need some restoration to be a show car or enjoy as is. Car will come with clean title currently registered in my name in in California. Driver door and latch needs adjusting as its not working properly. Tach works well however the other gauges are not working. Possibly bad ground or fuse. Car needs some restoration work. Contact me if you need more info, specific pictures, or want to see a video of the car running.

Don't miss out on a great opportunity to own an Awesome american Classic! RARE

May be interested in some trades but prefer cash. I'm a Chevy guy so i'd look at Nova's Camaro', side by side like rhino, dune buggy, 30's hot rods, other projects, or?
