Description

Offering up my 79 ford F350 Trailer Special. Its got the 460/c6 combo...Lariat package. It is a supercab. Came out of california last year...I had it stored indoors all winter..it has not ever seen salt. This is not a midwest rot bucket. Engine has 83K and is original. Last year I removed all vacuum based cali emission stuff. Has a edelbrock performer intake..brand new Holley 750. I dont know any history on the truck...A guy here in wisconsin bought it....had it shipped here to wisconsin...didnt want it...i bought it literally a few days after he got it...so over the last year ive been pouring some love into it and getting it out of mothballs. Heres a list of stuff ive done other than the motor stuff listed. New carpet (any mild surface rust, was hardly any, under old carpet was sanded and sealed with POR15, new vintage sounds radio, new door seals, new tonneau cover, just did rear drum brakes, replaced one new front caliper, new coil, new fuel pump, new water pump, new heater core, replaced board under headliner. Runs and drives down the road great ( has 3.73 rear end). just did tranny pan gasket/filter service. All electrics work, when little things dont work it drives me nuts..every bulb works...cruise works (i fixed it)..AC works ( still R12)...still has owners manual and all jack/handle stuff. I run the NOS hubcaps with trim rings and also has NOS dog dish hubcaps that come with it (as seen in one of the pics). I dropped and inspected both tanks..clean and shiny...replaced both fill hoses with new ones from LMC as they leaked a bit when you pumped gas. The only electrical glitch that I havent gotten to is the fuel gauge only works when switched to front tank...both work..just gauge doesnt indicate when running on rear tank. This is a nice old truck...but its not a museum pc...it spent its life being used as a truck...its got its share of dings and doinks..paint flaws..but still looks nice..gets compliments...call it patina...but it is a nice original not hacked up old truck that gets the job done...i will be happy to answer any questions in detail. I love this truck but I purchased a pretty decent Scout II that i need to focus on and I have a cummins for hauling..so something has to go.
