Description

Station Wagons are HOT and hard to find!! Who had the opportunity to ride in a Country Squire as a kid? This one has a unique story, but I want to address the cars overall condition FIRST....
THE CAR HAS A SALVAGE TITLE DUE TO THE ROOF DAMAGE.
THIS CAR IS A PROJECT..Not a huge project, but it will need to be trailered home. It runs ok but it needs to be fine tuned. The car sat for 20 years in a garage in Northern Minnesota. It apparently was used during the summer months at a summer lake home. The gas tank has been rep[laced and all the bad gas has been removed from the lines. A new carb was installed and various other items in the engine compartment. But it still needs fine tuning!! The hard work has been done but now it needs to be finished to run properly. The car is very rust free. Only minor surface corrosion down low behind the wheels. NO rust through has been found. The bottom side of the car has the normal surface scale you would expect on a 42 year old car. Note the pic of the bottom of the door, inside the door bottoms are very nice with no rust. I would say this car was driven during the summer months then parked for the winter. The inside is very nice. The seats are original, firm and very nice. Door pane;s and headliner are in good shape too. The dash pad is original and excellent, as well as the carpet and all guage components. Something fell on the roof of the car and dented the roof in a few places as seen in the pictures. The car was repainted decades ago and the woodgrain is the original from 1974 and is in very good shape. ANY questions please give me a call PRIOR to bidding. Repeating, this car is a PROJECT.!!!!
OK....Is this car a RAT ROD? Drive it as-is or give it a full blown restoration? That's up to you. The popularity of these cars are going right through the roof, and this one will be a relatively easy project whatever you choose to do with it. The tires and wheels are brand new maybe 20 miles on them. The original hubcaps go with the car but not the stock steel wheels.
It is a six passenger station wagon. No third row seat. The car DOES NOT have AC. 69,000 ACTUAL MILES.
OK...there you have it. I'm telling what I know, the pictures are a good representation of what you're getting. I stress that if you have any questions give me a call and we shall have an honest discussion about the car. It's being sold in AS-IS where is condition. Questions call Tom 402-650-3849
THE RESERVE IS VERY LOW...VERY LOW!! I'm here to sell the car. If you have a low number feedback like 0-25, please call me before you bid. Winning bidder is to send a $500. non-refundable deposit via Paypal 48 hours end of auction. The balance to be paid within 7-days in the form of certified bank funds, bank to bank wire transfer or cash if you pick the car up yourself. That's it!
Good luck and whoever wins this auction will be getting a VERY cool 70's piece of automotive history!!
