1964 JAGUAR XKE E-TYPE SERIES 1 FHC COUPE

Here we have a 1964 JAGUAR 3.8 Liter XKE E-type coupe (not a 2+2). This is a good restorable project car. At some point early in its life, someone upgraded this 3.8 liter jaguar to the larger Jaguar 4.2 liter engine as well as a few other 4.2 improvements. The engine turns over, and we did have it running for about 10 seconds on starter fluid. The original numbers matching 3.8L transmission is in the car. The bonnet is in excellent solid condition. Look at the underneath and you will see this is a typical restoration project, and the main areas for concern are very solid. This car is way above average condition for a project car, cars this solid and complete are getting very hard to find. You could patch the floors and replace the sills and have a nice car, or make this a basis of a show car restoration. As far as we can tell, this car is mostly complete.
