Description

This is a 1991 Range Rover in rare Ferrari red (original). This truck has a V8 with only 118K miles. It needs alternator, rust work. It has been lifted 3" but it could use bigger tires to make the lift higher. The interior is immaculate. This could be a great restore or a parts car. If restored properly these are going for up to $20,000! Call [hidden information] for details. You can stop by anytime to see it at Cottage Street Motors in Easthampton, MA.

Rear tailgate and hubs have rust. The back end and bumpers are the worst and will need to be repaired to pass inspection. The real value in this truck is the engine and interior. But with some rust work and installing a new alternator it would pass. I just can't do the work myself. I did find a place that sells all replacement panels very cheap called PADOCK, they sell hubs for $45 each, bumpers for $70 and the rear end you need a good welder and a new cross member. This is not a perfect truck, hence the price. This will need work put in before it will pass inspection. It will need to be towed!

I do not have access right now but the hubs have rust and it has eaten through (maybe the size of a quarter in a couple spots). The rear end is the worst of it being bumpers and lower tailgate. The bumpers have to be replaced but they are inexpensive. The car was running when I got it. The only reason it is not running is there is no alternator. Once alternator installed it starts and goes just fine. The lower tailgate will need to be welded back in place....I had one done last year and it is about a $100-200 job unless you weld yourself. Ummm, the windows in rear and locks do not work (as usual) but can easily be repaired. The headliner is new. The suspension is rather new and lifted 3" (I would put larger tires on). The upper tailgate is rather new too (big bonus!) In all honesty I would part it out as teh engine alone will fetch $1200 with the low millage. I had a similar truck with all the same issues completely restored and it cost around $8000 but this was a complete restore. In the process I had all rear tailgate steel removed and I replaced with all 14 gage galvanized steel, looks great and will tow ANYTHING! This is by all means a restore, a parts car or a car to go hunting with where you don't care about these issues. That is as honest as I can be. I paid $2300 for it originally last year....just can't do the restore.
God Bless
