Description

NOT ACTUAL MILES. The previous owner hit a deer with this vehicle, the odometer was replaced because the drivers hand broke it. Also the hood, headlights, and core support were replaced. Odometer reads 67323, previous owner estimated the actual mileage at 185,000. The title shows "Non-Actual Odometer Discrepancy" This vehicle is mechanically solid considering it is 40 years old, I have had numerous parts replaced to make this a good running vehicle. That being said, there are still a few more things that will need to be addressed. This vehicle has obviously been painted in the past. I would rate the exterior as being in fair condition. There is some flaking paint and some rust but overall not bad considering the age. This vehicle has the potential to be a great daily driver, weekend cruiser, or a WVO conversion with many miles left on the solid diesel engine! The maintenance on these old 300s is fairly easy for any mechanic or DIY enthusiast. This vehicle is solid overall!
Numerous parts have been replaced on this vehicle including-RadiatorStarterWater Pump & Fan ClutchExhaustOptima Red Top BatteryPower Steering Fluid and FilterTrans Fluid and Filter and many more odds and ends
Items that will need to be addressed includeFuel seepage from injectors, I suspectit needs injector gasketsBrake light illuminated on the dashSuspension clunks over bumps, possibly ball jointsTrunk leaks water, vehicle is garaged most of the time but I have noticed water in the trunk after a car wash or rain. Most likely just needs a trunk sealAC does not work, pump was removed from previous ownerAC/Heat servo does not work (common in these old W123 Mercedes) but the blower motor does blow heat/defrostKey does not turn driver door lock so the door locks do not work
This car is not in perfect running condition, it does need work in order to be driven. That being said, it is a solid car overall considering the age. I no longer have the time to care for and maintain this vehicle. It has been a great project car and it needs an owner who can continue to restore it to its former glory! I have tried to list all known issues, but this car has been parked for a few years now. I have only taken quick trips around the block with it so I can't be 100% certain on everything this car needs.
Comes with Original Owners Manual, Service, Warranty, and Maintenance Books, along with what looks like the Original Mercedes Medical Kit!!
