1973 MG MGB Barn Find, Survivor, clean car, good driver
Description
This car was last licensed in 1992. The title is from 1977. I imagine it's a 2 owner vehicle but can't be sure. It is very original and shows in very good condition. We serviced the vehicle, replacing the battery, oil and filter, ignition points and spark plugs, the front brake lines, and rear brakes shoesand wheel cylinders. I have ordered trim rings and center caps for the wheels and a new emblem for the grill. The interior is in good condition and only shows slight fading and a small hole in the drivers seat that you can see in the pictures. The body is very solid and looks to have been repainted at some time. The convertible top appears almost new. There is a cover for the car new in a box and another cover that covers the passengers compartment while the top is down. This cover has holes in it, but is pretty neat anyhow. Also it could be used as a pattern to make a new one. This appears to be the original color as evidenced by the same color paint under the hood, inside the trunk etc. The trunk and floors are very solid and the underneath has been undercoated very well years ago. The door bottoms, fenders, rocker panels and quarter panels are very solid with no signs of corrosion. It runs well, shifts smooth and drives down the road like it should. No abnormal noises or clunks and as stated we have repaired the brakes so they work well. The parking brake works also. The only thing that does not work is the tachometer. I have not looked into the problem there. Anyhow... you are welcome to stop in and look at the car yourself. Please call 716 769-6608 for info. Happy bidding.
