1972 72 Oldsmobile Olds 2 Dr HT Coupe 350 7a SBO F85 F87 NOT S 442 CLONE TRIBUTE
Description
I am selling a 1972 Olds Cutlass. This Cutlass is in pretty bad shape but could be restored or used for parts. It has theoriginalrunning 350 SB with a working 3 speed transmission. It has the correct 7a Heads. The numbers on the engine match the vin but I'm not sure if they do on the transmission. I believe it may be a THM350 But may be a THM400. The brakes are not working due to a leaking brake line that rusted through. The VIN for this car is 3F87H2M227780 and it has a clean title in my name. I have some extra parts for it which include a 4 barrel intake ( OLDS PN 410446 ) a 4 barrel Rochester Quadrajet # 7042250 NC 0042. I bought the carburetor here on ebay and was told it was a good working carb. From the outside its looks excellent and appears to have fully rebuilt recently. I have 2 sets of valve covers and an Oil pan that are included. Also Included in the listing will be a 350 ( SEE DESCRIPTION & PICTURES IN MY OTHER LISTING ) short block. I have a pair of Chrome rocker panel covers that are included also.THIS CAR HAS RUST IN MULTIPLE PLACES. I removed the frontwindshieldand the frame is almost gone on the roof. The front floors will need replaced the back look good. The radiator core support has rusted through around the battery. The rear deck filler panel has rusted through. Thetrunkfloor has heavy rust but you cant see through it. The deck lid has rusted through on the underside. The rear window frame is missing in some areas. The rockers look good. The fenders are rusted out at the bottom. Thequarter panels are rusted out at the bottom. The pillars have rust and may need replaced . I am not sure if they can be salvaged. The dash has holes in it by the window frame. The hood has rusted through in the front. There may be rust in other areas that I have not seen. This is just what I have seen so far. I bought this car in 2014 with plans to restore it. Once I started takingthings apartI realized it was too much for me to take on. I have too many other projects andinterestsso Its getting sold.I hate to see it go and hope someone could save it or at the least use it to save another car or cars.Unfortunately, these 68 -72 GM cars and parts are getting harder to find each day. This is a package deal. I will not separate anything I want it all gone. If You have any questions please ask them before placing Your bid. Thanks.
