Description

Up for auction is one of the most unique and meanest looking cars you will everat on the streets. It is a 1973 plymouth scamp and is all steel. it is painted in2016 B5 blue that is almost a year old. The rear wheel openings have been "super stocked" opened up lick the factory super stock A body cars and the side marker lights have been removed and filled with patch panels. The body modifications are done in all steel not fiberglass. The interior is new and has been styled like a 70s street race car. It has new black carpet, custom door panels, andhead liner. the seats are Bostrom style seats like the ones used in the Hurst Hemi Darts and Barracudas. the dash has been cleaned up. There have been modifications to the dash over the years that have been replace with clean plates with stainless fasteners.
The car has an 8 3/4 rear with richmond 4.30 gears and an auburn posi. Has large rear drum breaks from a B body. The driveshaft has been fabricated to handle high performance engines and is equiped with the large Spice U joints. The rear suspension consists of super stock springs and a pinion snubber. The front suspension consist of small block torsion bars, factory upper and lower control arms, and factory disc brakes. The suspension has been rebuilt with Moog bushings. Mickey Thompson ET radials in the back and Kumos on the front.
The engine is what makes this car really stand out in a crowed. Factory iron block, eagle crankshaft, Direct Connection connecting rods, KB pistons, MP solid lifter cam, Edelbrock heads, 440 Source roller rockers, and comp cams pushrods. The part that stands out the most is the massive supercharger on top. I is an 8v71 blower that has been upgraded to high speed bearings seals. It sits on top of a modified Weiand tunnel ram. There are two Holley 4779 750cfm carbs feeding this beast they are actuated by a custom stainless and aluminum linkage. Fuel is delivered via 1/2" fuel line to a distribution block that feeds 3/8" hard lines to each float bowl. The supercharger is ran at a 1to 1 ratio and produces 10-12 PSI. She makes plenty of power!
