1955 Studebaker E12-22
Description

This is a no reserve auction.
Selling for my father-in-law. This truck is gorgeous inside and out. The Studebaker is always kept in a garage out of the elements. His wife bought it for him for their 40th anniversary, as he owned a Studebaker when they first started dating. The only reason for selling is lack of time to enjoy the truck. We would love to see it go to a nice home where it will be used and enjoyed. The photos were taken on 7/17/2017 at their small family farm. No filters or edits have been made to the photos.
The description below is from a previous seller. Unfortunately the restoration photos were not included when our family purchased the truck. I attempted reaching out to the previous sellers with no luck.
"Studebaker started its existence as a company making Conestoga wagons. That explains why Studebaker trucks are as coveted today, as the automobiles. In the 1950s, Studebaker began to offer a 259 cubic inch V8 engine in its trucks, shared with its cars. That engine, in standard output for the cars, produced 162 horsepower; and is that’s what the engine in this particular example is believed to produce. Cared for and restored by it's loving owner, you would be hard pressed to find a nicer example, unless of course you were to visit a museum! This Studebaker Pickup Truck is one of our favorite and is a great example of American Automotive durability. This Studebaker pickup is from the eastern part of Washington State where the weather is dry. A 500 photo-documentation of the restoration is included with the sale. The strong running rebuilt V8 engine has a 3 speed manual transmission with overdrive. Beautiful exterior 2 tone paint done to a very high quality. Interior redone as well including headliner. New brakes, tires, excellent glass and trim make this truck a beautiful rare example. If you are looking for a well sorted restored Studebaker pickup, you have found it"
Please call/text George (owner) with any questions @ (860)460-9506. He is very busy over the summer months with the family ice cream shop - but will return all messages as promptly as possible. Feel free to message me here on eBay if any difficulties getting in touch with him. I will also be posting the Studebaker locally and taking it to different car shows throughout New England, with that said we do reserve the right to end the auction early. Thank you very much for your interest.
I have done my best to photograph and document the true condition of the vehicle. This truck is sold as is with no warranty or implied warranty of any kind.
