FOR SALE 1959 TRIUMPH TR3A. TheTR was purchased from a Rhode Island dealer about 5 years ago, ... they claimed the milage (38,000.. at the time) was actual, and that it was a one owner car. The car was very straight and original. Had been repainted once..originally yello, it was painted green, completely disassembled then painted Coswald (Midnight) blue. The interior is custom..by Rob's upholstery, and is all leather. All body parts ..floors..engine..trans..are original . All brake parts have been replaced with new ...(lines, hoses, calipers, cylinders, etc. Tires are new. There is a brand new..(used once) dark blue top in German cloth, with a matching tonau cover. Have side curtains that need to be rebuilt or replaced. Converted to negative ground, great cd player with 4 speakers. Under the hood theres a new battery, belts, hoses,fuel pump,and generator. It is a Triumph so the turn signals are not currently working... there was a short somewhere and the left blinker blinked continuously..also the temp gauge just recently stopped working.Never driven in cold weater, so heater not hooked up. The triumph has some custom touches..a revolving licience plate (rear) ...also an original spare tire coved included...rear defense squirters..(concealed in the licience light..shoots about 10 feet and operated from center consul switch) The revolving licience plate motor, also operated from a switch in the consul..is currently not operable, but the plated can be switched by hand for car shows etc.. The car has 2 grills one is a small mouth..the other an EDDIE MICHAELS tube grill . 2 bumpers ..one is an aftermarket with bumperetts. I have all original badges and lots of extra parts that go with the car. The skirts (spats ) are hand made.. fiberglass over wood and are easily removed. The car is NOT perfect...it is driven.. summer fun..and always a head turner. Runs and drives great and has a reasonable reserve price. Car is located in Southold New York.
