Description

Offering my 1972 Triumph TR6 for sale with no reserve. I rescued this as an unfinished project after it had sat unfinished for years and it's time for someone else to take it to the next level. Fuel tank and lines flushed, new fuel pump, fuel filter and fuel lines from pump to carb. Carbs cleaned with new diaphragms and gaskets. New plugs, wires, points, condensor, rotor and cap with engine timing set. Coolant flushed. Oil changed. New battery. Brakes done with new front rotors, new calipers, pads and soft lines. Rear brakes done with new shoes, wheel cylinders and drums. Parking brake adjusted and working properly. New wood dash panel installed with new soft pads. Windshield seal replaced with new trim and mounting seal. Wipers working properly. Lights working properly with new fuse block, horn relay, hazard switch and turn signal and headlight switches replaced with new. Car has Miata leather seats installed with ARE brackets and have new Millenium headrest speakers, but they are not connected as the original radio is not functional. Convertible top has a small tear above passenger side door from prior owner improperly folding it and some stains that may clean off. Car comes with top boot cover and a full cockpit cover with headrest pockets, both are nice but need some snaps replaced. Original paint code is 17 Damson Red and interior code is 33 New Tan. New black door panels, window seals, door seals and door hardware and clips included. New carpets with Triumph rubber mats but rear interior panels are missing and truck panel trim is also missing. No spare tire or jack. I had planned to repaint the car it's original color so left the door panels off until that was done but they are included. Solid body, frame, truck, floors etc. Decent bumpers. Amatuer repaint in a blue color over original paint. Needs tires and some additional work to be sorted out properly but a good start to a really fun car. Clear title in my name. Sold with no reserve and also no warranty or guarantee as is and where is. It starts easily and runs so drive it onto your trailer and take it home if you win. It's not inspected and should be checked thoroughly before being road ready. Email any questions. Wire transfer, cash is best. Again, no reserve. I'd like to finish this car and enjoy it, but have other projects needing attention.

To answer a few questions; the top is usable but the plastic windows are very dirty and may or may not clean up. I cleaned up the right rear small window and and its much better. The rear window does not open, it's fixed. The top frame folds and fits properly. The bumpers have no dents but the chrome on the front and rear side pieces is faded and would need re chromed to be perfect. The rear center bumper and license plate lamp have very nice chrome and look newer. The glass is original and in good shape. Paint is an amatuer 10-footer and has some runs, nicks and chips. I do not know what it was painted with or if it can be color sanded and buffed. I did not see any rust issue in the body panels, floors, trunk or frame. Suggest you inspect it yourself if possible. Far from a perfect car but a good starting point. The Miata seats are leather, installed with correct brackets, fit well and are comfortable.
